The Meridian Mustangs crushed the visiting William Monroe Dragons baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren County for a Northwestern bout on Wednesday, May 4. Meridian will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.

Next, the Dragons face the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 5. William Monroe will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Trailblazers enter the bout with a 13-0 record after their 9-2 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA).
