West Virginia High School Baseball - Point Pleasant defeats Nitro

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) and the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), saw Point Pleasant's baseball squad beat Nitro by a margin of 7-0.

Coming up next, the Big Blacks play the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 6. Point Pleasant will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 14-5 record after their 6-1 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH).

The Wildcats now sport a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln County for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 4. Nitro will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Grace Christian (Huntington, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 7-15.
