The Plainfield Central Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Plainfield South Cougars to 3 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats (17-9) will now prepare for their match against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league match with a 3-17 record. In their last match, Thornton Fractional North was overwhelmed by Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 15-0, in a league match.

The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats go into the Southwest Prairie match with a 18-9 record. In their last match, Plainfield Central edged Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 15-2, in a non-league match.
