The Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors topped the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Meteors now have a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremen for a South Suburban test on Monday, May 16.
The Cardinals (8-17) will now prepare for their test against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs enter the South Suburban test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Richards gained a win over Reavis (Burbank, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
