The East Providence Townies topped the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Townies now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barrington for a Division 2 test on Thursday, May 5. East Providence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Villa Novans (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Central (Providence, RI). The Knights enter the Division 2 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Central was knocked off by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
