The Jefferson J-Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Guilford Vikings to 1 in the J-Hawks league victory on Tuesday.
The J-Hawks now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hononegah for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 game on Thursday, May 5. Jefferson will meet a Indians team coming off a 2-0 league win over Belvidere (Belvidere, IL). The Indians record now stands at 13-0.
The Vikings (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Titans enter the Northern Illinois NIC-10 game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Boylan Catholic nipped Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
