Next up, the Mariners clash with the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 5. Lake Pointe Academy will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Mavericks come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC).

With the loss, Hough drops to 0-4 on the campaign.
