In Tuesday's league test, the host Fruita Monument Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 victory over the Grand Junction Tigers.

The Wildcats now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Montrose for a 4A Mountain West test on Friday, May 6. Fruita Monument will face a Indians squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Telluride (Telluride, CO). The Indians record now stands at 2-11.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Telluride Miners (Telluride, CO) in a 4A Mountain West test, on Friday, May 6. Grand Junction will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Miners come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Montrose (Montrose, CO).
