In their next game, the Ironmen play the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, May 10. Cherryville will attempt to advance on its 1-16 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 14-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
