Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, May 5. Pinecrest will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
The Bucks now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they host Southern Lee for a Sandhills 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Hoke County will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-9.
