John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Greenfield for a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge on Thursday, May 5. Wayne Country Day will face a Knights team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
