Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 8-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves confront the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge, on Thursday, May 5. Lincolnton will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 6-1 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).

The Warriors now have a 0-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Lincoln for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Thursday, May 5. West Caldwell will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 9-9.
