Next, the Spartans confront the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A challenge, on Thursday, May 5. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 9-0 league win over South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC).

The Saints now possess a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fike for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Southern Wayne will confront a Demons team coming off a 9-0 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Demons record now stands at 12-4.
