The Sutter Huskies crushed the host Corning Cardinals baseball team by a count of 13-4 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 4. Sutter will face a Cougars team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Corning falls to 3-12 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Sutter (Sutter, CA) to battle the Huskies in a test on Thursday, May 5. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 20-5. Sutter won 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Center (Antelope, CA)
