Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Concord Minutemen (Concord, CA) and the visiting Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), witnessed Concord's softball squad tip Northgate by a count of 18-17.

The Minutemen now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Benicia for a match on Thursday, May 5. Concord will face a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Northgate moves to 6-11 on the season. The Broncos travel to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA) to face the Falcons in a match on Thursday, May 5. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 3-8. College Park lost 14-1 in their recent league match against Alhambra (Martinez, CA)
