In Tuesday's league battle, the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) lacrosse squad edged the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), by a count of 7-6.
Coming up next, the Mounties clash with the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Friday, May 6. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 19-4 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI).
The Crusaders now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Kingstown for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 5. Prout will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 16-4 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 0-6.
