Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), 7-6 in a league battle.

The Phoenix now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loudoun County for a Dulles battle on Tuesday, May 10. Rock Ridge will clash with a Captains squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Captains record now stands at 3-5.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 6. Park View will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Red Wolves come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 10-9 league win over Freedom (Woodbridge, VA).
