In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Mountain Crest Mustangs soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Logan Grizzlies.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 5. Mountain Crest will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Thunder enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Bear River (Garland, UT).
The Grizzlies now possess a 5-12 record.
