Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Algonquin Regional Tomahawks (Northborough, MA), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host North Middlesex Regional for a Midland-Wachusett B challenge on Friday, May 6.

With the loss, Algonquin Regional falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Tomahawks travel to Westborough (Westborough, MA) to battle the Rangers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Westborough won 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA)
