Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), 19-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wilby for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3.
With the loss, Ansonia falls to 4-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Oxford (Oxford, CT) to face the Wolverines in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass match on Wednesday, May 4. The Wolverines go into the match with a record of 11-3. Oxford lost 8-3 in their recent league match against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT)
