California High School Softball - Ashland gets by Mt. Shasta

May 3, 2022: Mt. Shasta, CA 96067

The Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) softball nipped the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Grizzlies (14-8) will now prepare for their bout against Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Wolverines go into the 5A Midwestern bout with a 7-4 record.

The Bears now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Etna for a Shasta Cascade bout on Friday, May 6. Mt. Shasta will confront a Lions squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Lions record now stands at 18-3.
