Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Olympia for a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Emerald Ridge will battle a Bears squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Puyallup (Puyallup, WA). The Bears record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Bellarmine Prep falls to 0-13 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Rogers (Puyallup, WA) to battle the Rams in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Rogers lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA)
