Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) and the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), witnessed St. John's's softball squad prevail over Bishop McNamara by a count of 15-5.
The Cadets now sport a 10-6 record.
With the loss, Bishop McNamara moves to 0-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to meet the Knights in a Washington Catholic match on Friday, May 6. The Knights go into the match with a record of 13-1. Bishop O'Connell won 14-1 in their recent league match against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA)
