The Mankato West Scarlets softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Century Panthers to 0 in the Scarlets league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Mankato West moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Scarlets travel to Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a Big 9 game on Wednesday, May 4. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-12. Albert Lea lost 28-10 in their recent non-league test against Faribault (Faribault, MN)
The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Faribault was routed by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 5-4, in a non-league test.
