Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Clay will battle a Ironman/Ironladies squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH). The Ironman/Ironladies record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Western falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Indians host Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH) to battle the Vikings in a Southern Ohio I challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Symmes Valley lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)
