Nevada High School Softball - Douglas can't hold off McQueen

The McQueen Lancers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Douglas Tigers to 3 in the Lancers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McQueen improves its record to 14-13 on the year. The Lancers travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to clash with the Raiders in a 5A North game on Thursday, May 5. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 16-11. Reed won 6-5 in their recent league game against Reno (Reno, NV)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a 5A North game, on Thursday, May 5. Douglas will attempt to improve on its 21-6 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 24-3 record after their 7-1 league win over Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).
