The Montgomery Aztecs nipped the host Southwest SD Raiders softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Aztecs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Cougars go into the Metro Pacific battle with a 21-3 record. In their last battle, San Ysidro got by Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA), 25-4, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Southwest SD falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Raiders host Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Trojans in a Metro Pacific challenge on Thursday, May 5. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 4-16. Castle Park lost 25-4 in their recent league challenge against San Ysidro (San Diego, CA)
