The Morris Hills Knights got by the visiting Parsippany Hills Vikings softball squad by a final score of 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Knights (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, West Morris Mendham nudged Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ), 7-6, in a league battle.
The Vikings now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host West Morris Central for a Northwest Jersey - National battle on Wednesday, May 4. Parsippany Hills will meet a Wolfpack squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Wolfpack record now stands at 14-2.
