The Mountain Lakes Lakers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Morristown-Beard Crimson to 2 in the Lakers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mountain Lakes improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Lakers travel to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ) to clash with the Ridgers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 5. The Ridgers come into the game with a record of 5-6. Glen Ridge lost 16-7 in their recent non-league game against Montclair (Montclair, NJ)

In their next game, the Crimson clash with the Mount St. Mary Academy Lions (Watchung, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 6. Morristown-Beard will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
