Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) and the host Section Lions (Section, AL), witnessed North Sand Mountain's softball squad tip Section by a count of 14-8.

The Bison now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ider for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 4. North Sand Mountain will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 19-14.
