Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL) and the visiting Vinemont Eagles (Vinemont, AL), witnessed Phil Campbell's softball squad prevail over Vinemont by a count of 17-2.
The Bobcats now sport a 9-17 record. They play next when they travel to Danville for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 4. Phil Campbell will face a Hawks squad coming off a 9-4 non-league loss to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Hawks record now stands at 15-22.
With the loss, Vinemont moves to 1-17 on the season.
