The Pocatello Thunder (Pocatello, ID) softball routed the host Preston Indians (Preston, ID), 12-4 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Thunder (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against Shelley (Shelley, ID). The Russets go into the non-league bout with a 4-17 record. In their last bout, Shelley toppled Minico (Rupert, ID), 15-7, in a non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Century for a 4A Great Basin - East bout on Thursday, May 5. Preston will confront a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 16-5 non-league win over Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 6-11.
