The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) and the host Rangeley Lakes Lakers (Rangeley, ME), saw Valley's softball squad achieve victory over Rangeley Lakes by a count of 19-7.

The Cavaliers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a Class D South match on Thursday, May 5.

With the loss, Rangeley Lakes falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, May 7. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 0-1. Vinalhaven lost 25-12 in their recent league match against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME)
