Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 5. Waterloo will face a Indians squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL). The Indians record now stands at 19-17.

With the loss, Shoals Christian falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Flame travel to Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Covenant Christian lost 21-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL)
