Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV) and the visiting Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), saw Buffalo's baseball squad edge Lincoln County by a count of 9-8.

Coming up next, the Bison play the Cross Lanes Christian Warriors (Charleston, WV) in a West Virginia Christian battle, on Thursday, May 4. Buffalo will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 12-2 league win over Elk Valley Christian (Elkview, WV).

The Panthers now possess a 4-20 record. They take the field next when they host Mingo Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6. Lincoln County will play a Miners squad coming off a 19-5 league loss to Scott (Madison, WV). The Miners record now stands at 6-6.
