In Wednesday's league challenge, the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) baseball squad edged the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Burrillville upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Prout (Wakefield, RI) to battle the Crusaders in a Division 2 challenge on Friday, May 5. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Prout won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)

With the defeat, Narragansett falls to 4-7 on the season. The Mariners host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to battle the Chargers in a Division 2 challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Chariho won 9-5 in their recent league challenge against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
