In Wednesday's league game, the host University Liggett Knights baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets.

The Knights (11-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the Catholic Central game with a 18-0 record. In their last game, St. Mary's Prep tipped University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI), 8-3, in a league game.
