Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 17-2 in a non-league battle.

The Nighthawks now have a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glastonbury for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6. Newtown will clash with a Guardians squad coming off a 13-10 league win over Hall (West Hartford, CT). The Guardians record now stands at 4-6.

In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County-West battle, on Saturday, May 6. St. Joseph will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 1-11 record after their 14-5 non-league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT).
