North Carolina High School Soccer - Mountain Island Charter knocks off Community School of Davidson

The Mountain Island Charter Raptor soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Community School of Davidson Spartans to 2 in the Raptor league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Raptor face the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, May 4. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 6-7 record after their 4-3 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).

The Spartans now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hopewell for a non-league contest on Monday, May 8. Community School of Davidson will face a Titans team coming off a 9-0 league win over North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 11-7.
