The Franklin Academy Patriots smashed the visiting Research Triangle Raptors soccer squad by a margin of 6-1 in Wednesday's league match.
The Patriots now sport a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Franklin Academy will encounter a Dark Horses squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 18-0.
