The Salem Spartans baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Glenvar Highlanders to 3 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (12-2) will now prepare for their match against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Knights go into the match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Cave Spring was overwhelmed by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 12-9, in a non-league match.
The Highlanders (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans go into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Hidden Valley edged Northside (Roanoke, VA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
