The Andover Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Newton Railroaders to 4 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Andover improves its record to 1-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to Salina Central (Salina, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 9. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-9.

In their next game, the Railroaders clash with the Haysville Campus Colts (Wichita, KS) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 5. Newton will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Colts come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Heights (Wichita, KS).
