In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers softball team scored a nice 22-1 win over the Gilbert Yellowjackets.
Coming up next, the Mountaineers battle the Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 4. Housatonic-Wamogo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
The Yellowjackets (2-12) will now prepare for their outing against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT). The Chiefs enter the Berkshire outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Nonnewaug ran past Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 4-3, in a league outing.
