Washington High School Softball - South Whidbey topped by Granite Falls

In Wednesday's league contest, the Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), by a margin of 16-1.
With the triumph, Granite Falls moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Sultan (Sultan, WA) to play the Turks in a 1A Emerald Sound contest on Monday, May 8. The Turks come into the contest with a record of 3-9.
In their next game, the Falcons play the Cedar Park Christian Eagles (Bothell, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound contest, on Monday, May 8. South Whidbey will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA).
