Michigan High School Softball - Mercy holds off Lutheran North

The Mercy Marlins the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Marlins (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's Prep nudged Richard (Riverview, MI), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Regina for a Catholic Central battle on Friday, May 5. Lutheran North will meet a squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The record now stands at 0-3.
