New Jersey High School Softball - Ranney topped by Matawan Regional

In Wednesday's league contest, the Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) softball team overwhelmed the host Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), by a margin of 16-0.

With the triumph, Matawan Regional moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Huskies host Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to play the Bucs in a non-league contest on Friday, May 5. The Bucs come into the contest with a record of 4-0.

In their next game, the play the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) in a Shore A - Central contest, on Friday, May 5. Ranney will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record.
