Rhode Island High School Softball - Mount St. Charles Academy bounces Rogers

The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) softball routed the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 10-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Mounties (12-0) will now prepare for their bout against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders go into the Division 3 bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Shea was routed by Rogers (Newport, RI), 16-3, in a league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division 3 bout on Friday, May 5. Rogers will confront a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 4-6.
