Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) and the visiting Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA), witnessed Prospect's softball squad prevail over Overfelt by a count of 13-2.

The Panthers now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Leigh for a Santa Teresa West match on Friday, May 5. Prospect will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Overfelt moves to 0-11 on the season. The Royals host Del Mar (San Jose, CA) to face the Dons in a Santa Teresa West match on Friday, May 5. The Dons go into the match with a record of 7-7. Del Mar lost 11-2 in their recent league match against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)
