The Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA) softball routed the host Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), 6-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the Northwestern bout with a 10-4 record. In their last bout, Brentsville District held off William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 10-0, in a league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Manassas Park for a Northwestern bout on Thursday, May 4. Warren County will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 25-3 league loss to Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-8.
