St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sharks now own a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wando for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. St. James will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Socastee falls to 1-21 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Fort Dorchester lost 11-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)
